I read an article in this morning’s Courier News about Elgin looking to require new construction and addition projects to go in front of an Architectural Board for review. Would work great for those projects that should fit in. But, what does that mean?? What happens when someone wants to be different?

I ran across this article/blog today and thought it was interesting.

Cubic Confusion

Thought it was refreshing to find someone critiquing the gentrifying of Chicago.

I think if it’s done with some thought, change can be nice. But, thought is the key here.
